Wan 3.0, Prime, and Reference Video Tools

Wan 3.0, Prime, Reference to Video, and Prime Reference to Video are now on RunDiffusion. Explore the four tools, their controls, and generated examples.

Wan 3.0, Wan 3.0 Prime, Wan 3.0 Reference to Video, and Wan 3.0 Prime Reference to Video are now available on RunDiffusion. Choose a text or frame-guided workflow, or use reference images and clips to guide a new video.

Choose your input workflow

Wan 3.0 and Wan 3.0 Prime accept a text prompt with optional start and end frames. Use these tools when you want to generate from a written scene or animate an existing image toward a specified ending.

The two Reference to Video tools accept up to ten reference images and five reference videos. Use them when you want to assign visual roles to several inputs, such as a building reference and a camera-movement clip.

Shared output and audio controls

All four tools offer generated durations from 2 to 30 seconds, output resolutions of 480p, 720p, or 1080p, and landscape, square, or portrait formats. Generate Audio and Expand Prompt are enabled by default. Thinking is optional, and Seed is available for working with a consistent random input.

When comparing a standard tool with its Prime variant, keep the prompt, source images or references, duration, and resolution the same. Review camera movement, straight lines, material appearance, and sound against your presentation brief.

Wan 3.0

Describe the scene, action, camera movement, and sound in Prompt. Add a Start Frame to switch to image-to-video generation. You can also supply an End Frame after adding a Start Frame.

For an architectural view, use a rendered exterior as the Start Frame and describe a single camera move. Identify the building elements that should retain their shape.

A starting prompt: A slow lateral camera move past the entrance of a contemporary limestone museum. Keep the building geometry and facade openings consistent. Ornamental grasses move gently in the foreground, with quiet outdoor ambience.

Example: a museum entrance

Wan 3.0 result: a five-second lateral camera move past a limestone museum entrance with outdoor ambience.

Wan 3.0 Prime

Wan 3.0 Prime provides the Prime model variant for text and image-guided generation. Add a Start Frame to animate an existing image, and add an End Frame when the clip needs to finish on a specified image.

For an interior presentation, define one camera move, such as a slow push toward a reception desk or a reveal of a courtyard. State which materials and structural elements should remain consistent.

Example: a lobby camera move

Wan 3.0 Prime result: a five-second forward camera move through a daylit lobby toward a planted courtyard, with ambient audio.

Wan 3.0 Reference to Video

Add up to ten Reference Images and up to five Reference Videos. Across all supplied reference clips, use no more than 15 seconds in total and footage with a frame rate of at least 16 fps. This input limit is separate from the generated duration selected in Video Duration.

Reference images can guide subjects, appearance, composition, or style. Use Prompt to explain the scene, camera direction, audio, and the role of each input. For an architectural concept, distinguish the image that defines the building from a clip that guides camera movement.

Example: a reference-guided courtyard shot

Wan 3.0 Prime Reference to Video

Use the Prime model with the same reference-input limits: up to ten images and five videos, with no more than 15 seconds of reference footage in total and a minimum frame rate of 16 fps.

Give each reference a defined purpose. Use a facade render for the building appearance and a separate camera clip when you need video guidance. The example below uses an image reference to guide the courtyard-house design.

The courtyard-house reference images used in these examples are also shown in the Flux 3 image, Klein, and video upscale update.
